As part of Project Udaan, supported by L&T Power, an inspiring elocution competition was organized at Adarsh Hindi Vidyalaya, Vadodara, reaching 22 girls. The event provided a vibrant platform for participants to express their thoughts on meaningful topics and showcase their public speaking skills. Judged on clarity, confidence, and content, each contestant delivered well-prepared speeches that reflected both passion and purpose. The top three performers were awarded trophies and certificates, but more importantly, the event ignited a sense of confidence and motivation among all the participants, encouraging them to continue building their communication skills.

Feedbacks:

The elocution competition had a significant positive impact on our students. It was not just a platform for them to showcase their speaking skills, but also an opportunity to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Throughout the competition, students were encouraged to express their thoughts clearly and effectively, which helped improve their public speaking and communication skills. The preparation process for the event helped students broaden their knowledge on various topics, making them more aware of current issues and enhancing their ability to articulate their views. It also allowed students to step outside their comfort zones, building their self-esteem and reducing the fear of speaking in front of an audience. I saw many students grow in their ability to organize their thoughts and present them with conviction, which will serve them well in future academic and professional endeavours. Overall, the competition was not just an event, but a learning experience that fostered personal growth and a sense of achievement in each student involved.

Participating in the elocution competition was a truly empowering experience for me. It gave me the confidence to speak in front of an audience and express my ideas clearly. Preparing for the speech helped me improve my vocabulary and overcome my fear of public speaking. The encouragement from my teachers and the fair judgment process made it even more special. Winning a certificate and trophy was a proud moment, but more than that, I feel proud of finding my voice. I’m inspired to keep working on my communication skills and to participate in more such events in the future."
