A thought-provoking debate competition was held at Adarsh Hindi Vidyalaya, engaging 28 girls in a vibrant exchange of ideas. Two enthusiastic teams from different grades participated, presenting structured arguments on relevant social topics. Evaluated on the strength of arguments, logical reasoning, and delivery, the students showcased impressive preparation and confidence. The winning team was felicitated with certificates and a trophy for their outstanding performance. Beyond the competition, the event fostered critical thinking, communication skills, and teamwork—empowering the girls with abilities that extend well beyond the classroom.

Feedback:

Participating in the debate competition was an incredibly enriching experience for me. The journey began with preparing for the competition, where I researched the topic thoroughly, gathered evidence, and built my arguments. With the full support of my educators, I received valuable guidance on how to structure my points, strengthen my arguments, and improve my speaking skills. The educators provided continuous feedback, helping me refine my delivery, manage my nerves, and stay focused during the debate. The practice sessions played a crucial role in boosting my confidence, allowing me to present my ideas clearly and persuasively. On the day of the competition, the atmosphere was intense, but I felt ready to engage with my opponents and present my case confidently. Winning first place, along with the trophy and certificate, was an amazing accomplishment, not just because of the recognition but because it reflected all the hard work and dedication I had put into the preparation. This experience taught me so much about public speaking, critical thinking, and the importance of being able to think on my feet. More than the prize, what I loved most was the learning process and the chance to be part of such a stimulating and supportive environment. It was an empowering experience, and I’m excited to participate in more debates in the future, knowing how much I’ve grown through this one.
