An essay competition was held across five project schools for 7th and 8th-grade students, aimed at enhancing their critical thinking and writing skills in English. The event encouraged 114 participating students to express their ideas creatively and reflect on real-world topics.
While 7th-grade students wrote on "The Importance of Sports," highlighting how sports contribute to physical and mental development, 8th graders explored "The Growth of the Internet in Recent Days," analyzing its impact on education and society.
Students participated enthusiastically, presenting thoughtful and well-structured essays. The top three essays from each grade were selected based on creativity, clarity, and depth. Winners were awarded medals, recognizing their effort and inspiring continued learning and self-expression.
Feedback:
"I really enjoyed writing about the importance of sports because it made me reflect on how physical activities help in my overall development. My father is a P.T. teacher in a school, and therefore, he guided me a lot on this topic. I learned a lot while researching and thinking about how sports build teamwork and discipline. Winning the competition was a proud moment for me, and it motivated me to keep improving my writing and thinking skills. I’m excited to participate in more competitions like this in the future."
