Kickstart of Project Abhaya 2.0: Safety and Hygine Kit Distribution

To kickstart Abhaya 2.0 in Vadodara, the distribution of safety and hygiene kits marked a significant step in the workshop series, prioritizing the well-being of the 250 participating girls. The kits included essential hygiene products and safety tools like pepper spray, whistles, and hairpins, empowering the girls with practical items for personal security, all of which can be easily carried in their bags. During the workshop, self-defense experts demonstrated the effective and safe use of pepper spray and hairpins for enhanced personal protection. Throughout the year, these adolescent girls will participate in a range of workshops covering cyber safety, financial literacy, social etiquette, menstrual health management, and self-defense.
