As part of our efforts to introduce students to emerging technologies, a Drone Workshop was successfully organized across four government schools. This unique and hands-on experience offered 185 students an exciting opportunity to learn the basics of drone technology—right from assembling a drone to understanding its components and even flying it under expert guidance.

Led by experienced trainers, the workshop was a first-of-its-kind experience for most students, sparking their curiosity and expanding their understanding of science and innovation. The training sessions were designed to be interactive and practical, ensuring that every participant gained valuable insights into drone mechanics and real-time operations.

This initiative not only exposed students to cutting-edge technology but also encouraged them to dream big, think creatively, and explore careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. It was a day of learning, excitement, and discovery—one that students will remember for a long time.

Feedback:

Before this workshop, I had only heard about drones on TV or seen them in videos. I never imagined I would actually build one with my own hands! The trainers were really friendly and explained each step with so much patience. From learning how to connect the wires to understanding how the controller works—it was all so exciting! The best part was when I got to fly the drone myself. It felt like I had achieved something big. This experience made me realize how interesting science and technology can be. I now dream of becoming an engineer and building something new for the world."

"This workshop was such a new and different experience for all of us. In our regular classes, we learn theory, but this time we got to apply it practically. Understanding how drones are used in real life—in farming, deliveries, even in rescue operations—was eye-opening. The way the trainers explained each part of the drone, and how it flies, made the whole concept so easy to grasp. When I held the remote and flew the drone, I felt so proud and empowered. I want to thank ARCH Foundation and everyone involved for giving us such an inspiring and unforgettable learning experience."
