Series of soft skill workshops was launched in November, where IFF employees extended their support by volunteering across Five project schools, reaching 488 students of Grade 10. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Abhishek, Ms. Nutan, Mr. Shiva, and Mr. Ramesh from IFF, who dedicated their time and expertise to empower students ahead of their board exams.
The workshops focused on building vital life skills such as stress management, time management, and strategic exam preparation, delivered through engaging and interactive methods. The initiative was met with highly positive feedback from both students and headmasters, who appreciated the practical value and real-world relevance the sessions brought to students’ academic and personal lives. This meaningful volunteering effort not only enriched the learning environment but also strengthened the bond between corporate volunteers and the school communities.
Feedback:
"The session began with Nutan mam guiding us through meditation techniques, which helped us feel deeply relaxed and at ease. Following this, Abhishek sir conducted the session in a highly encouraging manner, alleviating our fears about the upcoming board exams and instilling us with confidence. Sir began by teaching us how to cultivate positive thinking, which shifted our mindset in a constructive direction. He then covered important topics like time management, goal setting, respect, self-confidence, and believing in oneself. Through engaging stories like the pencil and eraser, the elephant, the balloon, and the cat and lion, sir explained these concepts in a relatable and impactful way.
He also provided practical advice on how to approach challenging subjects, develop interest in them, and effectively allocate time for each subject. With clear explanations and real-life examples, sir made these strategies easy to understand and apply. By the end of the session, we felt confident and fearless about facing our exams. We are immensely grateful to sir and the Arch Foundation for this invaluable guidance."
