Camp Empower was more than just a summer camp—it was an opportunity for children to discover the power of practical skills and self-reliance. Held across multiple locations like Balapur, Boisar, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bharuch, Indore, Bhiwadi - the camp engaged over 4,582 children of 12 years and above in hands-on learning experiences over three impactful days in each community.

Children were introduced to the basics of plumbing, carpentry, and gardening through fun, interactive sessions designed to spark curiosity and build foundational life skills. The camp encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and environmental awareness, helping participants appreciate the value of manual work and develop a sense of accomplishment through doing.

A unique highlight was the active involvement of around 170 community members, who joined in to witness their children’s learning journeys, fostering a sense of pride and collective support.

Camp Empower blended education with empowerment, leaving children inspired, capable, and confident to take on the world with their own two hands.

Feedback:

"When I first heard about the 3-day summer camp in our school, I was curious but unsure of what to expect! During these 3- days, I’ve learnt skills like connecting water pipes, smoothening the surfaces of wood and gardening. My favourite activity was to create a water system. Holding pipes and fitting them was so fun! I learned how water travels & reaches through different homes. It was not just theory – we actually built a small water line by connecting pipes ourselves. That hands-on experience made me feel like a real plumber."

"My daughter attended the three days summer camp held at our community. I want to thank the organisation and teachers for their effort and care. The camp was well-organized, and it was clear that a lot of thought and planning went into making it a success. Such initiatives are truly valuable for our children’s growth beyond academics. I hope this continues to offer these enriching opportunities in the future."

"I had the opportunity to witness the summer camp organized by IFF & ARCH Foundation, and it was heart-warming to see the level of enthusiasm among the children. They were fully engaged in the hands-on activities, especially during the plumbing session. What stood out to me most was the high number of girls actively participating in tasks like plumbing and carpentry—skills we often don’t see girls exploring. It was empowering and encouraging to watch them asking questions. Camps like these are not only fun but also incredibly useful in building confidence and practical knowledge among students. I hope such initiatives continue and reach more schools."
