ARCH (Advanced Resource Centre for Humanitarian) Development Foundation is a non-profit organization (registered as Section 8) head quartered in Vadodara working towards development activities mainly focused on education, women empowerment, skill and livelihood and financial literacy to name a few. Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Project Unnati. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Implementation and Coordination

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the project in the assigned area.

• Form and nurture SHGs, ensuring their active participation in project activities.

• Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns on livelihood promotion and skill development.

• Engage with women and adolescent girls to identify their needs and aspirations for livelihood enhancement. 


Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and authorities.

• Facilitate community meetings and discussions to ensure stakeholder involvement and feedback.

• Mobilize women and adolescent girls to participate in SHGs and project-related activities.        


Monitoring and Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of SHGs, training sessions, and project activities.

• Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate project impact and suggest improvements.

• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations. 


Capacity Building

• Design and deliver capacity-building workshops for SHG members on financial literacy, livelihood skills, and entrepreneurship.

• Collaborate with NGOs, government bodies, and resource persons for advanced training and exposure visits.       


Collaboration and Networking

• Liaise with local NGOs, banks, and government departments for SHG linkages and access to credit schemes.

• Foster partnerships with organizations and experts to enhance the scope and impact of the project.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Essential

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in implementing livelihood projects, SHG formation, or women empowerment initiatives.

• Proven ability to work in rural communities, mobilize groups, and build trust.

• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in local language and English. 


Desirable

• Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops.

• Familiarity with government schemes related to SHGs and livelihood promotion.

• Knowledge of farm-based livelihood interventions like kitchen gardening, vermicomposting, or mushroom farming.

Qualification:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, or equivalent

Experience:

3+ years in social work, community development, or related fields
