ARCH (Advanced Resource Centre for Humanitarian) Development Foundation is a non-profit organization (registered as Section 8) located in Vadodara working towards development activities mainly focused on education, women empowerment, skill and livelihood and financial literacy to name a few. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement educational programs and activities in schools and communities covered under the project, under the guidance of the Project Coordinator.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to children and community members. ensuring alignment with project objectives and educational standards.

  • Assess students’ learning needs and progress regularly and adjust teaching Strategies accordingly to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Collaborate with project staff, teachers, and community members to develop innovative teaching methods and materials promoting active learning and critical thinking.

  • Organize and facilitate extracurricular activities, workshops and events to enhance students' overall educational experience and holistic development.

  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of educational interventions, collecting data, and preparing reports as required.

  • Support the project Coordinator and administrative tasks, documentation and reporting related to educational initiatives.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Scratch programming and familiarity with other coding platforms such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratchjr.

  • Experience in designing and delivering coding lessons or educational programs for children, utilizing interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods.

  • Proficiency In Telugu and English, including reading, writing, and speaking, to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and community members.

  • Passion for education and a commitment to promoting access to quality education for all children, especially those from marginalized communities.

  • Ability to engage with children and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and style.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationship with students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational slots and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science or a related field from a recognized University.

Experience:

Previous working experience in educational settings, preferably in rural or underserved communities will be an advantage.
