Arch PHILOSOPHY

ARCH Foundation is a Section 8 organization that provides customized solutions to companies and foundations to deliver impactful CSR initiatives, leveraging the strengths of diverse stakeholders in the social sector. ARCH is working with leading companies to shape and implement their CSR initiatives and assess the on-ground impact of such initiatives. ARCH works across multiple causes including healthcare, sanitation, education, women's empowerment, skills and livelihoods and financial literacy.

Project Associate

  :Vadodara (Gujarat), Boisar (Maharashtra), Indore (MP), Balapur (Hyderabad, Telangana)

The Associate position in the Program Management group offers young, motivated, energetic people the opportunity to be an integral part of ARCH’s work. The project associate is the crucial link between the state and program implementation teams, central teams, and donors. In this team, one can expect a culture of “getting things done.” His/her responsibilities stretch two ways – supporting the state or program in planning and implementation as well as managing partnerships with donors and other external collaborators.


Eligibility

  • Post-graduation in Social Work / Extension Education / Rural Management from a recognized university 
  • Minimum two years of experience in the educational field 
  • Fluency in the local language is a Must (Reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Candidates applying for the southern region should have fluency in the English language

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead project by managing project schedules, collating project data, creating project metrics and submitting periodic project status updates.
  2. Regular liaison and communication with central teams with respect to the emerging needs and demands at any point in time and facilitating processes through reports, internal coordination, communication, documentation, and planning. The Associate will also continuously collaborate with relevant teams across the organization (content, M&E, finance, etc.) as required to ensure smooth operations and timely implementation.
  3. Program tracking and financial management will need to be followed up with regular tracking of progress against the plan. Financial management will comprise ensuring that expenditure on the ground is as per plans and that any deviations are being recorded and managed efficiently.
  4. The Associate will be responsible for creating any internal reports and documentation of various activities.
  5. He/she will be needed to handle relations with the government as a member of the central office of ARCH. Other advocacy-related functions, such as liaison with other NGOs, partners, etc., may be required on the part of the Associate.
  6. The project associate will be responsible for mentoring of the field team, assessing the training need, and holding weekly review meetings to ensure timely execution of programmatic activities

Project Coordinator

  :Vadodara, Gujarat

Project Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget, and details of the project assigned. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide updates to project stakeholders and the management team of ARCH
 
Location: Vadodara
 
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management 
  • Make sure that client's needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets 
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Plan monitoring visits to project sites to assess progress v/s targets, understanding needs, and mentoring field teams
 
Education Qualifications/ Required Skills & Experience
 
  • Masters in Social Work, Development studies, or any equivalent field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the social sector is required—preference for those who may have previously engaged in donor management/ social impact/ program management-based roles.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, with proficiency in written and verbal skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English. The ability to communicate in multiple Indian languages is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory. Familiarity with Canva and other designing tools would be a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in an entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Self-motivation and a keen interest in the development sector are expected.
  • Willing to travel extensively

Program Fellow

ARCH Foundation has launched a fellowship program under its Learning Enrichment Initiative to support students recently out of college and exploring ground-level experience. Through this initiative, we also encourage women who, for any reason, have discontinued their professional journey and now wish to be back in the field.

Qualification:

Graduate/Post-graduate in Human Resources/social work or relevant field.

Experience:
Freshers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in our various ongoing projects.
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail as per the requirement.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the organization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Ready to dedicate six months to one year to the fellowship program.
  • Should be open to travel & work in the field.

Self-Defence Trainer

We are searching for a trained and enthusiastic martial arts Instructor to join our organization. The martial arts instructor's duties include planning and scheduling classes, providing practical instruction, and ensuring that students learn and operate within a safe, supportive environment. You may be required to provide such lessons during one-on-one and group sessions.
 
 
Martial Arts Instructor Responsibilities:
  • Organizing individual and group lessons at the centre and selected schools with a special focus on self-defence techniques.
  • Informing students about the historical and theoretical underpinnings of these techniques.
  • Fostering discipline and respect within the classroom.
  • Supervising students to ensure that interactions remain safe at all times.
  • Encourage the appropriate use of techniques learned, both within and outside the classroom.
  • Providing lectures and demonstrations to parents, companies, and other members of the community to promote safety.
  • Organizing and leading pertinent events such as gradings, workshops, boot camps, and tournaments.
 
Martial Arts Instructor Requirements:
  • Black belt in your chosen style.
  • Prior experience teaching martial arts to students of varying ages and fitness levels.
  • Proven ability to prepare students for participation in local and national tournaments is preferred.

Reporting & Documentation - Executive

Reporting and Documentation – Executive 
 
 
 The primary responsibility of the reporting & documentation executive will be to draft reports, gather field data, and document various activities and events. Also, to support the various departments in the organization. He/She will be responsible for maintaining an informative and positive brand image of ARCH by promoting its mission, services, programs, and projects internally and externally through brand communication, mainstream, and social media or media tools, along with marketing initiatives and outreach efforts.
 
Job description:
 
  • Assist project teams in preparing monthly updates, quarterly process reports, and annual progress reports.
  • Prepare communication strategy and tools for various projects 
  • Work closely with the management team to strengthen results management and reporting;
  • Ensure effective communications, visibility, and knowledge management;
  • To support the project team in preparing concept notes and other project-related documents;
  • Capturing case studies/success stories under various projects
  • Ensure proper process documentation and prepare project closure reports
  • Prepare and edit press releases, program-related progress reports, and documents;
 
 
Education Qualifications/ Required Skills & Experience
  • The candidate should have a Master’s degree in mass communications/journalism/research or other relevant fields. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
